As Peter was heading off to Philip Island to watch the motorbike racing, I really didn't care where I stayed for the night before we were able to check into the timeshare resort. As it turns out, I got a beauty.

The El Toro is a 14 room motel, just on the edge of Numurkah township. The rooms overlook a large reserve then the shady caravan park, so sitting on the patio was very pleasant.

Again, there was a queen and single bed, a comfy sofa and small table and chairs. In the kitchen area there was a fridge, kettle and microwave. This tiled area just inside the door was handy as I didn't have to leave my bike outside.

Only local channels on the TV and no WiFi at the moment, but the new owners are looking into it at the moment. For the warmer weather, there was a small outdoor pool.

Short walking distance to all shops, cafe's and takeaway food as well as the couple of pubs. I have to say that the bed is seriously the most comfortable one I've slept in for a long time. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this little gem to anyone heading this way.
